Italian for ‘the sweet life’, ‘La Dolce Vita’ is about living a life of simple pleasures and luxuries; about enjoying the good things and valuing them. The design of the main villa and apartment reflects this attitude with an emphasis on creating an environment that is all about wellness. This beautiful, well-designed tropical home gives credence to its name.
Found on the lower level of the main villa, La Dolce Vita, this 700 sq. ft apartment is finished with the same quality materials as the main residence and is accessed from a separate driveway insuring complete privacy from the main villa.
This quaint unit offers the peace and quiet of the north side of the island, away from the hustle and bustle of Charlotte Amalie and its cruise ships. Within, the home features travertine floors and custom mahogany cabinetry and doors.
The main entrance leads you into the living room which is furnished with 2 comfortable couches, a coffee table and, of course, a TV. Just behind the couches you’ll find a tight top table that seats 4 comfortably. Beyond that is the kitchen. Fully equipped to meet your needs during you stay.
The bedroom hosts a lovely king-sized bed, plenty of closet and storage space and a washer and dryer in a closet just outside the door. The full bathroom is located inside the bedroom. On the east side of the villa is the pool, beautifully landscaped grounds abundant with flowering plants, and a gazebo for alfresco dining. This garden retreat is an idyllic location whether it’s a Sunday brunch, lunch with friends, a romantic dinner, or cocktails under a starry night sky.
The villa is situated in the premier gated community of Sydney’s Fancy in Estate Peterborg, one of the few areas on island with underground utilities affording unobstructed views of yachts sailing along the north coast of St. Thomas, and, at the right time of year, you may spot whales. Picturesque Hans Lollik and to the east the British Virgin Islands of Tobago, Jost Van Dyke, and Tortola provide a tropical panorama.
Just five minutes away, you will find the world-renowned Magens Bay. With its 500-yard stretch of palm lined, white sand beach, pristine waters, nature trail and the adjoining 50 acres of Nature Conservancy land, it is a true island treasure. Whether you enjoy running, walking, swimming, paddle boarding or kayaking, it is the fitness enthusiasts ‘go-to’ spot.
